For one weekend
in October, Northwest Arkansas is awash with visitors from far and wide and a growing majority of
those visitors will make Bella Vista their destination! Their quest
is a search for treasure in the
guise of finely crafted handmade fine arts and crafts
offered at the heavily juried Arts and Crafts show
of Bella Vista!
Since 1969 the
Bella Vista Arts and Crafts festival has been
steadily growing in size and reputation! Thanks to
the dedication of hundreds of volunteers through the
years, the reputation of our festival has also
grown. The festival this year, once again under the
continuing direction of dynamo director, DeLane Cox, is
sure to be one of the best ever held!

WE
WANT TO THANK ALL THE VOLUNTEERS AND ALL THE ARTISANS AND CRAFTERS WHO
HELPED each other during the 2007 festival when Mother
Nature came through and blew down one tent completely,
and damaged four others, two of which had to be totally
replaced. The spirit of cooperation and the way everyone turned
out to help not only saved the day, but was inspiring
and uplifting!
Despite
the fact that the fair had to close down on Thursday in
order to get the fair grounds back in order, the tents
back up, and the vendors back in their booths, many of
the vendors said
this was their best fair ever. This may have had a
lot to do with the publicity the near disaster brought
to the festival, bring well wishers out in force during
the remaining two days of the show!
